Strengthening skills—Joint-School Preparation for the DSE Exam

On December 2, our school collaborated with Po Leung Kuk Lee Shing Pik College for a joint-school oral practice session for Form 6 students. Initially, the students were nervous. After a round of discussion, they gradually became accustomed to engaging with peers they did not know, allowing them to participate more comfortably in the following rounds. After each discussion round, there were opportunities for students to deliver 1-minute individual responses in front of their peers, fostering confidence and public speaking skills. This activity not only provided valuable experience for students in preparing for Paper 4 of the DSE exam but also served as a mini-exchange program, allowing them to share insights about their school lives and build connections with one another. Overall, it was a productive and enriching experience for all participants.
